At the NorthWoods Stewardship Center Main Lodge

Ages 10+ (children must have adult supervision)

Join certified arborist Grace Pribbernow on a foray into the winter wilds to gather crafting materials from the abundance of nature. Enjoy cocoa and cookies around the wood stove while we learn about the rich history of the wreath making tradition- and create a unique piece of art representing your warmest wishes for this holiday season.

We provide: Wreath Making basics (wreath bases, evergreen cuttings, assorted natural decorations such as pine cones, berries, and birch bark, ribbons, wire, and hot glue) refreshments, and snowshoes if needed

Bring: Warm clothes and boots – be prepared for a woodland walk over varied terrain. Feel free as well to bring any personal crafting materials you would like to use (for example: cloth or dried flowers, decorative fruit, bows, ornaments, bells, ribbon, etc.).

Cost per person: $25
