Members of the 2012 Corps gathered at NorthWoods on August 3rd and 4th to celebrate a successful summer of habitat restoration, invasive plant control, and trail building.
The end of season gathering is a tradition for the NorthWoods Conservation Corps which has been in operation since 1995. At Friday’s Field Day, crews competed in team and skill challenges like Wheelbarrow Races, Tug-of-War, and Spike Drive. At Saturday’s Season Celebration, crews were joined by families, friends, and sponsoring agencies to share their accomplishments, including our first ever photo contest. View the finalists below.
